Know all Men by these Presents, That I and Charlotte [Harrington Haws] his wife of the County of and State of Illinois in consideration of the sum of two Thousand dollars to us in hand paid by of the county of and State of Illinois the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold and and by these presents do bargain, sell, and unto the said and to his heirs and assigns forever, all our, and each of our right, title, interest, estate, claim, and demand both at law and in equity, and as well as in possession as in expectancy, of, in, and to, all that certain farm, or piece of land situate in Lake County, State of Ohio, being Township number nine, in the ninth Range of Townships in the Connecticut Western Reserve, in the State of, Ohio and is known as part of Lot Nos. 29. 30. & 31 and is bounded as follows to wit: on the East by the road leading from [p. 504]
