THIS INDENTURE MADE AND ENTERED INTO, This Tenth— day of February— in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty-three between Joseph Smith, as sole Trustee in Trust, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, of the county of , and State of of the FIRST part, and Eliza M. Partridge, Emily D. Partridge Caroline E. Partridge, Lydia Partridge & Edward Partridge [Jr.]—— —— all of the county of and aforesaid, of the SECOND part Witnesseth, that the said Joseph Smith, party of the FIRST part, for and in consideration of the sum of One thousand—— dollars, to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said Eliza M. Partridge, Emily D. Partridge, Caroline E. Partridge, Lydia Partridge and Edward Partridge—— party parties of the SECOND part, his their heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land, situate and being in the county of in the State of known and described as follows, to wit: Lot number two in Block number one hundred and forty-six of the City of ——
together wth all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining.
TO HAVE and TO HOLD The above described premised unto the said Eliza M. Partridge Emily D. Partridge, Caroline E. Partridge, Lydia Partridge and Edward Partridge party parties of the SECOND part, his their heirs and assigns forever. And the said Joseph Smith, party of the FIRST part, his assigns and successors in office, the aforesaid premises, unto the said parties of the—— party of the SECOND part, his their heirs and assigns, against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
