Several errors have escaped the eye of the proof reader: They will be carefully sought, and, in the next edition, corrected: lest, however, that any should be mislead, the last paragraph of the article on Marriage, page 251, should read: “We believe that husbands, parents and masters who exercise control over their wives, children and servants, and prevent them from embracing the truth, will have to answer for that sin.”
In the proceedings of the General Assembly, page 255, it should read: “Wherefore and , Presidents of the first presidency, appointed , and , Clerks, and proceeded to organize that whole assembly, as follows: “They organized,” &c. And it should read at the 9th line from the bottom, “And they also, as the assembly was large, appointed , , , Andrew H. Aldrich, , and Oliver Higley, as assistant presidents of the day, to assist in preserving order, &c. in the whole assembly.” And on the 257th page, 5th paragraph, it should read: “The venerable assistant President,” &c. And the whole proceedings should be signed,
