Honor Among Thieves “Times & Seasons” page 710. We extract the following from the ‘New York Tribune,’ “The paymaster (710 T & S.) cruel.”
Previous to this Sister Elizabeth Morgan died at , without medical aid, after calling for the Elders &c— which created much excitemnt. & a coroners inquest was caled by Mr Baker, who brought in a verdict of “natural death,” for particulars see T. & S. page 711 &c.
I officiated as grand chaplin, (LL, 91,) manifested. In the evening I received any the first degree in Free Masenry, The Lo in the Nauvoo Lodge assembled in my Gen business office.

<​17​> Thusdy [Thursday] 17 The High council withdrew the hand of fellowship from Elder for setting himself up as a prophet. & took his licence.
I assisted in commencing the organizatien of “ the Female (LL. 91) Scriptures, <​ was blessed &​> Here Her Councillers were ordained. And wa by Elder .

I preached to a large assembly, in the , near the on the west.— The body of a deceased child of Mr being before the assembly changed my design in the order of my remarks, a brief synopsis of which were reported by Elder as follows “Prest Smith (T & S. 751, 2.) there.” font.” after this I baptizd a large number in the font myself.
