<​Tuesday Septr. 19th—​> I was standing on the door steps at 7 A M, and gave a Cod fish.
I directed to answer the letter recently received from the , and to enclose a copy of the resolution passed at the meeting of the mobocracy at ; which he did.

After preaching I called upon the brethren to draw stone for the , and gave notice for a special for 16th. Octr. next. Adjourned the meeting about one P M on account of the prospect of rain. Judge Mc.Bride and a lawyer from were present at the meeting.
