are we offering or have we offered to take away the right of any one these 2 days? NO!!!— from every quarters.—
Referd to Laws Grinding the poor— and spoke at great length.— in support of active mesur [measures] to put down iniquity.—

Resolution on the printing press. read. and passed.
Petition of Samul Guly [Samuel Gully] & 9 othr [others] read rules dispnd dispensed with and Petition orderd to be gantd [granted].— committee on Petition of reported unfavorable— report accepted and Petition ordered to be laid on the table indefintely
Voted that the Collector of the 4[th] ward have an extension of 60 days for the collection of Taxes for 1843—
