me, justice of Peace within and for said , personally came Joseph Fisher & Evelina Fisher the above named grantors and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the above Deed to be their voluntary act for the use and purposes therein expressed. And the said Evelina Fisher being examined by me separate and apart from her said husband, and the contents of the said Deed being fully made known to her upon such separate examination declared, that she did voluntarily sign, seal and acknowledge the same and that she was still satisfied therewith. In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and placed my seal, this sixth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three J. P. seal Recorded July 6th. 1843

This Indenture, made, and entered into, This Eleventh day of July in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty three between and his wife, of the county of and State of of the one part, and of the county of and aforesaid, of the other part, Witnesseth, that the said and his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty dollars, to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said his heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land, situate and being in the county of in the State of viz; commencing at the North East corner of Lot No. nine in Block No. Three of s first addition to , running West ten Rods thence South Seventy two feet to the centre center of Ripley Street thence East along said street ten Rods Thence North Seventy two feet to the place of beginning containing about 44 Rods be the same more or less. Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, To Have and to Hold the above described premises unto [p. 192]
