Biography

21 Mar. 1806–after 1860. Laborer. Born in Holliston, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts. Son of Joel Bullard and Lucretia Morton. Possibly baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Joseph Ball at same time as his sister Elizabeth, 30 June 1838, in Holliston. Moved to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois, spring 1841. Lived in Nauvoo Second Ward, ca. spring 1842. Married Caroline M. Jordan, 20 May 1842, in Hancock Co. Involved in court case Nauvoo v. Joel Bullard, Aug. 1843. Declared insane, 19 Oct. 1843, with Hyrum Smith and Howard Egan appointed his conservators. Ruled sane, 23 Oct. 1845. Moved to Carthage, by 1860.
