Allred, William Moore


24 Dec. 1819–8 June 1901. Carpenter. Born in Bedford Co., Tennessee. Son of Isaac Allred and Mary Calvert. Moved to Missouri, ca. 1829. Baptized into LDS church, 10 Sept. 1832. Moved to Clay Co., Missouri, 1835; to Caldwell Co., Missouri, 1836; to Adams Co., Illinois, spring 1839; to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois, ca. 1840; and to Pleasant Vale, Pike Co., Illinois. Served as bishop of Pleasant Vale stake. Appointed as stock agent for Nauvoo House Association in 20 Mar. 1841 revelation. Married Orissa Angelia Bates, 9 Jan. 1842, in Nauvoo. Member of Nauvoo Legion. Moved to Pottawattamie Co., Iowa, by 1850. Migrated to Salt Lake Valley; arrived, fall 1851. Moved to Grantsville, Tooele Co., Utah Territory, by 1860. Moved to St. Charles, Bear Lake Co., Idaho Territory, by 1870. Moved to Fairview, Uinta Co. (later in Lincoln Co.), Wyoming, by 1900. Died in Fairview.
