Know all men by these Presents that we and Julia [Ives] Pack of the County of and State of has this day for and in Consideration of the Sum of forty Dollars in hand paid by Mary Ann Young of the County of and State of Bargained and Sold unto the Said Mary Ann Young a Certain Lot of or peice of Land Lying and Situated in Kimballs Addition to in Said and above mentioned as will more fully appear by refference to the plat of said Addition Being part of Lot No. fifty one in Block No. four in Said Addition to the town of Commenceing at the South East Corner of said Lot thence North sixteen Rods along the line of the <​Lot​> thence West tenn Rods thence South to the South line of Lot No. fifty one thence East to place of Beginning Supposed to Bee one Acre of Land Bee the Same more or less
To have and to hold the Above Described lot or piece of land with all and singular the Appurtenance thereunto Belonging to her the said Mary Ann Young her heirs and Assigns forever [blank] and the said and Julia Pack for them selves their heirs and Assigns Administrators and executors do Warrant and forever defend the title of the Lot or piece of Land against evry person or persons Claiming by through or under him in any manner
or any other persons whatever [p. [1]]
in Testimony whereof whee have hereunto set our names and affixed our Seals this fourth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty three

I, , a Justice of the Peace in and for said do certify that and Julia his wife whose signatures appear to the foregoing Deed are personally known to me to be the persons described in and who executed the same and who acknowledged the same to be their free and voluntary act and Deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.
And the said Julia Pack, having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said Deed and examined separate and apart from her said , acknowledged that she had executed the same, and relinquished her Dower to the lands therein conveyed, freely voluntarily and without and any undue influence of her said . Given under my hand [p. [2]] and seal this Fourth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty-three.
