KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That I of the county of and State of held and firmly bound unto Joseph Smith Trustee in trust for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of the county of and State of Illinois his successors and assigns, in the sum of one hundred—— dollars, for the payment of which, well and truly made, I bind myself heirs, executors and administrators, firmly by these presents.
NOW THE CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS SUCH, That whereas, the said —— have this day sold unto the said Joseph Smith Trustee in trust for for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints a certain lot of ground, situated, lying and being in the county of —— and State of , and described on the plat of s addition to as being part of Lot No. 33 and 32 in Block No. six and received in payment for said lot the sum of fifty—— dollars, it being five rods wide and full length of a city lot east and west lying on the south Side of a fractional lot lying in the north west corner of 33 and the north east corner of 32——
the said Joseph Smith having paid the sum of fifty dollars— to me the said , I the said bind myself my heirs, executors and administrators, to make, or cause to be made, to the said Joseph Smith—— —— his Successors and assigns, a good and sufficient Deed for the above described lot— on or before the first day of September A.D. 1843 and then this bond shall become null and void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue. Given under my hand and seal this fifth— day of February— in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty two.—
