N ½ of E ½ of S.E ¼ of Section No 25 in Township No 7 N of the Baseline of Range No 9 W. of 4th prin Meridn & cont 40 acres more or less.
This Indenture, made the fourteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty Two between Earl B Nourse of the County of Butler and State of of the one part, and Joseph Smith of the county of and State of the other part; Witnesseth, that the said Earl B. Nourse for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred and fifty dollers lawful money of the , to him in hand well and truly paid by the said Joseph Smith the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, [p. 24]
