Block one hundred and fourteen— Lots three and four in Block one hundred and fifteen. To have and to hold the premises aforesaid, with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, unto him the said John Wilkie and his heirs or assigns forever— Provided allways that these presents are upon the this express condition, that if the said Joseph Smith his heirs executors or administrators, shall pay or cause to be paid to the said John Wilkie his heirs, executors administrators or assigns the just and full sum of two thousand seven hundred dollars, together with the interest that my accrue thereon, in manner particularly Specified in a certain note or obligation bearing even date herewith, executed by the said Joseph Smith to the said John Wilkie, then and from thenceforth these presents, and everything herein contained, shall cease and be void, any thing herein contained to the contrary notwithstanding

I an alderman of the City of , and Justice of the peace, for said , do certify that Joseph Smith whose signature appears to the foregoing deed of conveyance and who is personally known to be the person described in and who executed the same, did acknowledge that he had executed the said conveyance for the uses and purposes there in mentioned. Given under my hand and seal this thirtieth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one.
