July 30th. 1842. Summons issued on the complaint of , to appear at Ten oClock A. M. on tuesday August 2nd., A Subpeona issued on behalf of the , to bring forward Jerome Remmington, , Horace Whitney, , , , and , as Witnesses, at the time above named.
August 2nd. 1842 Summons returned endorsed “duly served by reading July 30th. , High Constable, fees, 75.—
Same day Subpoena was returned, endorsed , Horace Whitney, , , , , duly served by reading August 1st. 1842, High Constable fees, 87½.— The Defendants did not appear.
and appeared and were examined upon Oath, and upon hearing, the Defendants were fined in a Sum of twenty five Dollars, & Costs of Suit.— August 2nd. 1842, issued directed to the City , for twenty five Dollars Debt, and three Dollars Cost, returnable in 70 days from the date.
