Const. returned summons July 17th, endorsed “personally served July 17”[.] July 20th, 1837, the defendant not appearing the interest was calculated and judgment rendered against the defendant Willard Woodstock for the sum of one dollar and eighty seven cents debt and costs of suit $0[.]40
