Action of trespass, brought against said Hiram Stratoon, by the plaintiff, on whose application a Summons issued on the 21st. of June 1837, to Constable, , returnable on the 24th at 9 O’Clock, A.M. which was returned endorsed, “personally served, June 21.”
June 21, 1837. Subpoena issued by order of the plaintiff, for , Jonathan Fisher, jr, Ebinezar [Ebenezer] Jennings, and . returned subpoena, “served on E. Jinnings and ”—
June 24, 1837. The plaintiff withdrew his suit, and confessed judgment for the costs of suit, amounting to ninety nine . and a half cents.
July 25, 1837. The plaintiff paid fifty cents $0.50.
