Revelation Given March 9th. 1833.
1 Verily thus saith the Lord unto you, concerning the Apocrypha,[HC 1:331] there are many things contained therein that are true, and it is mostly translated correct: there are many things contained therein that are not true, which are interpolations by the hands of men. Verily I say unto you, that it is not needful that the apocrypha should be translated. Therefore, whoso readeth let him understand, for the spirit manifesteth truth; and whoso is enlightened by the spirit shall obtain benefit therefrom; and whoso receiveth not by the Spirit, cannot be benefited: therefore, it is not needful that it should be translated. Amen.

Revelation to Enoch [JS], on the order of the for the benefit of the poor, given to the Saints in , March, 1833.
1 Verily, thus saith the Lord, I give unto the united order, organized agreeable to the commandment previously given, a revelation and concerning my servant , that ye shall receive him into the order. What I say unto one I say unto all. [p. 280]
