<​October 27 High Council—​> Willowby— High Council of voted that the Clerks fees of be thirty dollars per month. That the Treasurer pay one hundred and fifty dollars for the side of the Ferry, at as per Charter. Voted that Sister , select and publish a hymn Book for the use of the Church, and that be informed of the same, and he not publish the hymns taken by him from ; and that the [HC 4:17] Council assist in publishing a hymn book, and the Times and Seasons.

<​28​> Monday 28 The High Council voted to build a Stone House at Upper to be used for boarding; that be requested to assist with funds to print the Hymn Book, and that , , and <​School House​> be Trustees for building the Stone School House in contemplation and that and be the Architects, and building Committee for said house. Voted to finish the office of President Joseph Smith Junr.. Voted that the Recommends drawn by , recommending, constituting and appointing Joseph Smith Junr., , and , delegates for the Church, to importune the and Congress of the for redress &c be signed by this Council. I preached several times while here. General , Judge of Probate, heard of me, sought me out, and took me home with him, and treated me like a Father—
