<​22​> Monday 22. I moved <​laid before​> the city council the following: Resolved (T.&S. 335 6) winter, which was accepted unanimously. I also presented. a bill for An Ordinance in relation to the University. Sec 1. (T&S. 336) Recorder.(The council divided the city into 4 wards <​at my suggestion​> to wit: “All that district of county within the city limits, north of the centre of Knight St. & west of the centre of Well St. shall constitute the 1st ward: North of the centre of Knight St. & E of the centre of Well St. the 2d ward: South of the center of Knight St & East of the centre of Well St. the 3rd ward; South of the Cr of Knight St. & West of the center of Well St the 4th ward”.)
