Sunday the 21st Feb 1836 Spent the day at home, in reading meditation and prayer— I reviewed my lessons in Hebrew— On this day some 3 or 4 persons were and the powers of darkness seem to be giving way on all sides, many who have been enemies to the work of the Lord are beginning to enquire in to the faith of the Latter day Saints and are friendly
22 February 1836 • Monday
Monday the 22ond translated Hebrew with the 1st in the morning atreturned home and, made out my returns to the county clerk on 11. marriages which I have solemnized within 3. months past 8, by license from the clerk of the court of common pleas in Ohio, and 3, by publishment, sent them to by Elijah Fuller— I . I spent the afternoon translating at with my scribe Elder at his house at 4. oclock meet, and the school committee at to make some arangements for the advancement of the several classes
The lower room of the is now prepared for painting—
This afternoon the sisters meet met to make the veil of the presided over them and gave them much good instruction, closed by singing & prayer [p. 159]
