soon after the dance commncd. [blank] came to my clerk. and told him an officer was on the way with an attachment— for him— he had come from 12.30 mi[nutes] [to] bring the news.— came to my house & staid all night.— came from & said had been swearing that I swore to the Complaint affidavit— on which was arrested &c I instru[c]ted & to go to in the Mo[r]ning— & have Him indicted for perjury—— as I neve[r] did sign swear to the compl[a]int.—
the office[r] was after. also. <​& Report say . & . & ​>
past nine eve I walked a little way with .— for Exercis[e]
several police out during the night
was in this evening. & Cautiond me about speaking so freely about my enemi[e]s.— &c— in such a manner they could make it a[c]tionable.— I told him 6 months would not roll over his head before th[e]y would swear 12 as palpable lies about him as th[e]y had about me [p. [130]]
