At a <General> Court Martial held in the Masonic Hall, at ten in the morning, pursuant to notice Major General. . President.
Moved and seconded that be Secretary—— carried.
The minutes of the adjourned meeting of Novr. 4th. 1843 being read— were accepted as correct.
Moved and seconded that the motion of to have music for the , be at present laid upon the table, until the bands can meet together and arrange matters between them.
Moved and seconded that the Brass Band be restricted to fifteen members, and be notified accordingly.
Moved and seconded that the Report of the Revision on the laws, be read— and was read accordingly.
Moved and seconded that the original law be read— and afterwards as revised—
Amendment to 2nd. Section carried— also add “one ensign” Sec 6.— Sec 19. Amendment carried—
Amendment to 23rd. Section strike out— and let the original Section with the words “Drill Officer” stand.
Amendments to 27th. Section carried— Section 52— be adopted—
Moved and seconded that all Brevet commissions shall take effect according to rank, according to the date of their commissions whenever the same post in the line is absent— and shall continue until the proper officer returns to his post.
Moved and seconded that the rules and regulations of the laws be accepted in regard to Brevet commissions—— carried—
Moved and seconded that the officers of this Legion who hold Brevet Commissions by any other means than thro’ the Court Martial be recommended either to resign or have their commissions ratified— <(rejected)>
cross out the appointment of Coll. — to Brevet office—
Repeal the 53rd. Section respecting Insp: Genls. duty
1st. 58th. section respecting the Chief musician laid on the table

Moved and seconded that so much of the law as relates to the duties of Companys be read at the head of each company on each company parade.

Carried that be the person to regulate the laws and present it to the Committee previous to its being printed.
Carried that be the person appointed to get the laws printed— by subscription and that the books be sold at the lowest price— and any surplus to be paid into the Treasury that the Articles of War be added— and make report to the Committee:
Moved and seconded that all unfinished business as relates to printing— <&> music— be referred to the committee,
