Sec. 1. Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of , that there shall be appointed by the City Council a City Register whose duty it shall be to Record all Deeds and other Instruments of Writing presented to him for that purpose, for which he shall be entitled to such Fees as the City Council shall [p. 66]
