North Eleven Rods six and a half feet thence west five (5) rods to the point of commencement containing fifty seven square rods. Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining. In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this 2nd. day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three L. S. Lois Cutler L. S L. S L. S L. S Sarah Higbee L. S signed sealed and delivered in Presence of . . State of Illinois ss. I, Justice of the Peace in and for the said do certify that and and Lois Cutler, and Sarah Higbee whose signatures appear to the foregoing Deed and who are personally known to me to be the persons described in and who executed the same, did severally acknowledge that they had executed the said conveyance for the uses and purposes therein mentioned, and the said and Sarah Higbee having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said Deed, and examined separate and apart from their said Husbands acknowledged that they had executed the same and relinquished their dower to the premises therein conveyed, voluntarily, freely, and without compulsion of their said husbands. Given under my hand and seal this second day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty Three. J. P. seal
