To have and To Hold the above described premises unto the said his heirs and assigns forever and the said Joseph Smith and his wife, their heirs and assigns, the aforesaid premises, unto the said his heirs and assigns, against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.

I, a Justice of the Peace, of City of , do certify, that Joseph Smith and his wife, whose signatures appear to the foregoing deed, and who are personally known to me to be the persons described in, and who executed the same, did severally acknowledge that they had executed the said conveyance, for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. And the said haveing been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said Deed, and examined separate and apart from her said husband, acknowledged that she had executed the same, and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed, voluntarily, freely, and without compulsion of her said husband. Given under my hand and seal, this Thirtieth day of March— in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty two

Deed to Daniel Hendricks and Hiram Spencer for Lots 2 & 3 in B 11 in addition to
This Indenture mad[e] and entered into twenty Third day of June one thousand eight hundred and forty two Between and his wife of the county of and state of of the one Part and Daniel Hendricks Hiram Spencer of the county of and aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said and his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Seven Hundred Dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof acknowledged do hereby bargain sell, Convey, and confirm unto the said parties of the second part their heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land situate and being in the county of in the State of “viz” Lots No (2) two and (3) three in Block No. (11) eleven in Addition to it being the West half of Block No (11) eleven aforesaid said Lots contain one hundred and thirty two Rods of Land each Together with all and Singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining To Have and to hold the above described premises unto the said parties of the second part their heirs and assigns for ever And the said and his wife their heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever do and will warrant and for ever defend by these presents In Testimony Whereof the Said and his Wife of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above Written
