To the Honorable City Council of
We, the undersigned, Petitioners (desirous of promoting the general good of and vicnity) would represent to your Honorable <​Body​> the inconvenience <​under​> which the People in this part of the City labour, on account of being shut out from the on the <​South​> West, and otheres, by being closed in from the Prairie, on the East, to hope you will grant this Petition, which is to order Winchister Street opened from Parley street South to <​the​> . And by so doing benefit those whose land it intersects, and confer a favour on the Petitioners. As in duty bound will Ever Pray
