THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF , To Jos. Smith Eq. Mayor of the city of Esq JUSTICE OF THE PEACE, AND ANY CONSTABLE OF SAID , Greeting:
WHEREAS, on the Sixth—— day of April— in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-three a judgment was rendered by Jos. Smith Esq. Mayor of the city of , Esq,, a Justice of the Peace within and for said county of , against Francis Dixon, and Elizabeth Dixon,—— in a suit insti[t]uted by ,—— against Francis Dixon and Elizabeth Dixon,—— for Seventeen—— Dollars and 87½,—— Cents, and Eight dollars & 75 cts,—— Costs of said suit, from which said judgment, the said Francis Dixon—— has appealed to the Circuit Court of said . You are therefore hereby enjoined and required to suspend all further proceedings in relation thereto, until our said court shall make other order to the contrary.
