Greeting:—
Whereas complaint has been made before me, one of Justices of the peace, within and for said county of , upon the oath of of said : that one , (name suppose to be “John’) of said , living about 4½ miles south of did on the second day of December 1843, with force and arms, in an unlawful manner, with others, seize kidnap and carry out of the a man named .
These are therefore to command you, forthwith to apprehend the said and bring him before me, to answer the premises and further to be dealt with according to law.
