Greeting. Whereas complaint has been made to me Mayor of the City of in the aforesaid upon the Oath of Wm. Nisewanger that Daniel Brown of the & aforesaid did on the 14th. Inst wilfully & maliciously take in the City of nine or ten Cotton-wood Logs & feloniously convey them away & also that one Thomas S Edwards was aiding and abetting in said removal of said Logs. These are therefore to command you to take the said Daniel Brown if he be found in your [p. [1]]
