Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1833. Moved to Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio, 1834. Appointed as member of Second Quorum of the Seventy, 1835. Moved to Daviess Co., Missouri, spring 1838; to Far West, Caldwell Co., Missouri, Oct. 1838; and to Pleasant Vale, Pike Co., Illinois, by 1842. Migrated to Salt Lake Valley; arrived, Sept. 1848. Living in Davis Co., Utah Territory, by 1851. Died in Woods Cross, Davis Co.
