Moved to what became St. Clair Co., Illinois. Served in Illinois state militia and in Black Hawk War. Helped settle Rochester, Sangamon Co., Illinois, 1818. Moved to Warren Co., Illinois, ca. 1829; to Oquawka, Henderson Co., Illinois, by 1850; and back to Warren Co., by May 1856. Died in Henderson Co.
